The Young Christian Workers is an international movement that is run by, for and with young people. The YCW seeks to organise, educate and empower young people to be leaders of positive change within their own lives and the community.
We believe that both personal and collective ACTION is the starting point for building justice, dignity and harmony into the fabric of society. It is a movement of ‘ACTION first, talk later!'.

Australian YCW is part of an International movement of young workers that was founded in 1925, Belgium. YCW groups in Asia, Africa, America and Europe organise young workers of all faiths and races to work toward the international objective of “JUST WORK FOR ALL”.

There is no limitation in order to be part of YCW. We are a friendly, diverse and vibrant community of young people who are committed to bringing about positive change and justice within ordinary circumstances of everyday life.
